The paralysed dog who never gave up

 In Blog, Hurt to Healed

We found a street dog lying unable to stand and horrifically wounded by the side of the road in a neighborhood in Udaipur, India. The upper half of his body was alert and still strong, but his lower half was paralysed and covered in a swarm of flies hovering around the huge wound near his backside. His intelligent eyes pleaded for help.

When we got him back to Animal Aid’s hospital we cleaned the very infected wound, treated him for pain and dehydration, and helped him rest and recover.

His wound slowly healed but his the damage to his spine was serious and we didn’t know if he’d ever be able to walk again.

Watch Sydney’s beautiful story and please donate to help save precious street animals in India.

Thank you to you and your whole team you are miracle workers and animal hero’s. When I watch (and cry at) the videos I can’t believe that some of these poor innocent animals survive after the horrible wounds and abuse they have suffered at the hands of evil monsters. I donate to you because of all you do to make such a huge difference in the lives of these poor animals. Keep up the good work and I’ll continue to donate.

I hope that all these animals get adopted and if they remain at your facilities I know that they will be well taken of by your team.

Best Wishes to all(humans and animals alike) for a Blessed and Wonderful New Year!

You are all miracle workers and your rescues never fail to amaze me by the care and treatments you give even when it seems impossible to heal some of these Dog’s from horrific injuries etc. They would die alone on the streets suffering terrible pain never knowing what it felt liked to be loved if it wasn’t for your amazing team of Angels. Will donate again.
