Street pup rescued with broken jaw, smiles at last

 In Blog, Hurt to Healed

It was hard to tell, at first, whether the blood covering this big puppy’s legs was from leg injuries or whether blood was flowing from his mouth. But when we got close, we saw that this amazingly trusting little soul had a broken jaw. We hurried him to Animal Aid’s hospital and performed emergency surgery to wire together the two pieces of jaw bone that had broken apart. Without surgery, he would never have eaten again, let alone smiled. But after 6 weeks of healing, this gorgeous boy radiated light. We named him Sparkle. Please donate, so that Someone new can smile again.
