Rs. 10,000 reward for info on dog-killer

Animal Aid is offering a Rs. 10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot and killed a street dog on November 28th evening at Sec. 11, Hiran Magri, Udaipur (Near Mahavir Apts.).

A first information report has been filed at the Goverdhan Vilas Police Thana after which a post-mortem was conducted and an X-Ray which identified the bullets that killed the dog.

Around the world, criminals convicted of violent crimes against humans have a much higher probability of having committed cruelties to animals than is found in the general population. Violence against children and women often begins with violence toward animals.

The dog-killer is a danger to society and for public safety for both animals and humans must be stopped.
