Dog sobs when she sees rescuer coming to save her

 In Blog, Rescue Stories

We have no idea how Ruby, a village street dog, could have survived this incredibly long fall. We got a call on our helpline from a village near Udaipur that a dog had fallen into a 50 ft deep dry well. When we arrived we heard the most plaintive cries for help coming from the bottom of the pit. When our rescue crew arrived she literally started to sob she was so beside herself with emotion, as if she needed to share behind tears the whole of her terrible ordeal, the fear she must have felt while falling, the disastrous realization that she couldn’t get out…and above her, she weeps almost in disbelief, may be–…yes–it is help!

Please donate today to save a precious someone who can’t survive without our help.

So moving. It’s as if the animals know when help has arrived. The rescuers are also brave – anything can happen, a rope can break – and they risk their lives. Well done!

What a selfless, generous group of people you are if you are all unpaid volunteers!
I trust that this imminently dangerous dry well has been covered! The next time, it could be large animals that mere men with hoists might not be able to get out! Also, I hope that this dog’s family, if she had one, was found and that the puppies she obviously was nursing have been located.

Rescuers are doing a great job ..!!! But I suggest they wear steel cap shoe or cover up shoe , not sandals to climb into places as such and dealing with animals , distress animals . It might just skip and hurt the rescuers. Help yourself to help others

It warms my heart to see three or four rescue volunteers trying to save one dog. This shows how committed and genuine your organisation is toward saving animals. The animals depend desperately on your help and on the donations of donors to fund the rescue and maintain the welfare of the animals later on. PLEASE BECOME A MONTHLY DONOR TO SAVE THE ANIMALS AT ANIMAL AID UNLIMITED,

I am a monthly donor for a small amount and I receive a personal thank you from one of the co-founders each time! Telling me how the animals are doing and what the organisation is busy doing. I feel compelled to spread the message of compassion to all of us. Please make a special effort to help them in whatever way you can. You will receive their heartfelt thanks! And mine as well! Thank you for saving another being!
