Dog rescued from pit at construction site

 In Blog, Rescue Stories

A free-roaming street dog got himself in a dangerous situation after he fell into a pit at a construction site and couldn’t get out. Neighbors soon heard that he was stuck, but not being used to handling or picking up dogs, they weren’t comfortable going down and rescuing him themselves. So they called on our helpline and requested help.

Luckily the pit was not too deep. Rescuer Ganpat was lowered down and first made friends with the gentle boy who looked very relieved to be getting some help. As soon as Ganpat made sure the dog was going to be comfortable being picked up, the two were pulled up by a rope with the help of neighbors.

Once out, the dear boy trotted off, clearly relieved to be free.

I am in total awe of your work and your rescuers. This wonderful man didn’t even have shoes on when he was lifted down the hole to rescue the dog with just an ordinary rope around his waist. Amazing
