10 jaw-dropping animal rescues!

 In Blog, Rescue Stories

Oh, to see them in terror, confusion, exhausted from trying to climb out, pull away from the bars, escape the plastic, swim up the walls…these rescues from nearly-fatal situations will fill your heart with unforgettable relief. What would have happened if we HADN’T come to their rescue? The 10 animals you’re about to meet make it crystal clear. If we hadn’t come, these angels would have died where they were. But because of your love and generous help, we saved them.

The rescues start from your heart. Please donate.

Thank god for people like you. Just watched the 10 rescues. When they do no need medical attention why do you just let them run loose again? Why not take them and those with their puppies back to your shelter to spay and neuter them. To just let them loose without being spayed or neutered they will only breed. Surely that is defeating the object – more dogs vulnerable to starvation and injury.

So many stray animals and it seems that once rescued, they are go back to the streets. Do any of them ever find homes or a place in sanctuary?

You are my true heroes. Often I stop to look at the sight and the incredible successes your men (my lions) are accomplishing. It brought me so much joy to see the last dog turn around and look at the men who saved him as if to say “thank you for saving my life”. I love you all and will continue to help when I can.

    Hi Annette,
Thank you so much for planning to donate! The easiest way to donate is online through our website. If you go to our Donate page, you’ll see donation amounts listed in USD, but Paypal (that’s the service we use) will automatically change it into your currency. So even though it says USD you can still donate by credit card. You do not need to have an account with Paypal to donate. Please do let me know if you have any questions about donating, and thank you again so much for your help.

Hi Shirley, thank you so much for your support! You are absolutely right on about spay/neuter. We actually run a dedicated spay/neuter center where we vaccinate and operate on around 8-10 dogs each day. We cover the city area wise in order to compete an entire neighborhood at one time because it is difficult to go back into the neighborhood later to find dogs who have not been operated on yet. For this reason, we do not bring in rescued dogs who are not in need of treatment. Also, the rescue team has a long list of emergencies that they need to attend to one after the other, so it is impractical for us to bring back one dog all the way to our spay/neuter center when there are critical emergencies pending. I hope this answers your question, which was a good one. Thank you!

Thank you for all you do. It is hard to see the poverty. Hard to see the litter, and the mess as much as it is hard to see the animal suffering. Once again thank you for these amazing rescues.

Because I donate monthly, watching these videos is especially heart warming. I encourage others to do the same. Any amount is helpful! Not just for rescues – medical emergencies, spay/neuter program, educational outreach and re-homing will benefit from your support.
The Animal Aid team is incredible. Angels on Earth.

Every time I watch your videos I’m so inspired. My heart breaks watching the animals suffer but then to see the rescuers step up and do what that do, it’s priceless. I wish every human being was a compassionate as the people in these videos. You all are very special people. One day, I’d love to plan a working vacation and come help you all. Hugs from Indiana (United States).
