We understand that some applicants might not have previously worked with animals, or for an animal protection NGO, and we provide training for approaching animals.

– Applicants based in Udaipur: fill the form and we will call you to set an interview with you.
– Applicants based outside Udaipur: we ask all applicants from outside Udaipur to come and volunteer for at least 2 days before officially applying for the position. Please email us at with the dates you are available to come to Udaipur.

Animal Handler/Care-giver: the Animal Handler / Care-giver handles the animals and looks after their welfare, including feeding, cleaning, helping with treatment and giving love. This position includes daytime, evening and night shifts. With experience and training, animal handler/care-giver can become area managers, rescuers and in some cases can be trained to become veterinary assistants.

Emergency dispatcher: the emergency dispatcher is the first contact point with the community for our rescue service, answering the emergency calls, sending the ambulances where needed and keeping track of admissions and releases of the animals. This position includes the handling of animals and daytime, evening and night shifts.
Requirements: fluent Hindi (oral and written), basic English (oral and written), excellent communication skills, basic computer skills and typing, willing to learn more IT skills. Preferable: Good typing, knowledge of Google drive (including Google sheets, Google docs and Google forms), good English.

Office and admin officer: the office and admin officer keeps track of donations and receipts, add records in our database, makes phones calls to the community and carries out all other office related tasks.
Requirements: fluent Hindi oral and written, good English, knowledge of Google drive (including Google sheets, Google docs and Google forms) and MS Office (Word and Excel), able to type at least 20 wpm, good communication skills. Preferable: able to type in Hindi.
