Darling Bruce was born in February 2014 and came to Animal Aid when he was less than a month old with his mom who had been badly injured in an accident. Sadly, his mom did not survive her injuries and Bruce was left an orphan.
But little Bruce was full of life and love. He quickly became attached to his new human moms (he had several!) who doted on him and bottle fed him. He got a new little sister named Maruti who was also an orphan.
Bruce was incredibly playful and silly. He would jump for joy and run as fast as he could and he loved to come screeching to a halt, only to charge off in another direction a second later.
Bruce is now over a year old and is an amazing love bug. He loves belly rubs, being stroked under his chin, and most of all he loves his friends. He is the oldest of a group of best friends who are together every moment of the day and sleep in a close little cuddle puddle at night. You’ll notice that Bruce’s fur is no longer dark brown. Starting when he was about 5 months old, his fur began to turn lighter and lighter. His still got a lot of growing to do and we’re especially curious to see what shape his horns will take!
